1971 – Design Space presents Thuluth by Emirati interior designer Alia Mazrooei. Thuluth (in English: “one-third”) is a form inspired by the natural shapes of sand dunes that have been shaped by the wind, loosely referencing their triangular peaks. An elongated sofa and two chairs invite visitors to sit in this contemporary Majlis.
